At Story Lab West

       Currently our focus is on helping individuals and groups in Claremont and nearby parts of Southern California to record Personal History Interviews and produce Tribute Videos and other special event presentations, using family photographs, home movies and music.

       As you come together once again, with friends, colleagues and family, stories will surely be told of the good times together: the triumphs, the  joys, the hilarity, the unforgettable moments, and the sadness of loss.

       A personal history interview, recorded with your choice of devices in a quiet space of your choosing, can capture stories of your or their proudest, most memorable, meaningful and funny experiences.  This is only one of the services provided by members of the Association of Personal Historians (APH).

       On a more philosophical level, how do you, and your loved ones, want to be remembered?

       At Story Lab West, an APH member, you can capture those stories in a collection of digital video recordings, or audio-only if you prefer, of 40 minute personal history interviews.

       Begin an archive of your family’s or group’s history. When occasions call for it, you will be ready to prepare tribute videos to celebrate the people you love and admire at anniversaries, celebrations, tributes and memorial events with mini-documentary movies of their lives, narrated by that person, with testimonial narrative by friends and family (available, but not  a standard part of the Tribute Video) and selections from your music collection.
